
Given the AHB’s very challenging strategic objectives under constrained funding, we rely on sound science to assist us in making the right technical decisions. Our research and development programme provides practical solutions to issues that arise, and it enables us to continue making cost-effective and positive gains that will ensure our strategic objectives are met.
The Animal Health Board (AHB) allocated $2.5 million of its annual budget to applied research in priority areas over the past 12 months. The Annual Research Report summarises recent AHB-funded research findings and it provides an outline of the upcoming research programme.
