All cattle (except bobby calves moving direct to slaughter) and deer which are being moved must have a signed and completed TB declaration provided on the industry standard Animal Status Declaration (ASD) form.
Be sure to keep copies of your signed ASDs
If you are moving cattle or deer you must keep a copy of the completed ASDs for those animals for one year from the date of movement.
If you receive cattle or deer, you must keep the completed ASDs for those animals for the time you keep the animals, plus an additional year.
Slaughter processors must keep completed ASDs for four years.
